Kashagan to boost world oil production

Kazakhstan’s Energy Minister Kanat Bozumbayev has said that the official launch of Kashagan is scheduled for October 23


ASTANA - The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) can pump about 1.2million tonnes of crude oil from the giant oil field Kashagan in Kazakhstan’s section of the Caspian Sea from October until the end of this year, CPC General Director Nikolai Gorban said at a press conference in Astana on September 15.
