Japan will try to improve ties with Russia, according to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe who gave a speech today at the Japanese Parliament.

Japanese daily, Japan Today, reported that Abe expressed his willingness to resolve a decades-long dispute over three Russian-held islands.
