One of Italy’s top judges warned on Friday that the country is experiencing a wave of femicide.

The killing of a woman or girl in Italy is linked to domestic violence.

The First President of the Supreme Court of Cassation, Giovanni Mammone, sounded what he called the “social alarm” on the rising number of women killed by men, usually their current or ex-partners. He also pointed that attacks without motive by young men against their peers was also on the rise....
