IMF urges for caution on US interest rate hikes

The IMF’s director is concerned about the added volatility an interest rate hike would bring to financial markets

From the G20 Summit in Ankara, on Saturday, the International Monetary Fund’s Managing Director, Christine  Lagarde, urged the U.S Federal Reserve on Saturday not to proceed with an interest rate hike decision unless it was certain that the move would be irreversible.
