Hundreds of people in Pakistan lost their life because of the heatwave which hit Pakistan's largest city, Karachi, and other districts in the southern Sindh province.

The temperatures are extremely high reaching as high as 45 degrees Celsius on Saturday. According to the Dawn, hundreds died on Monday taking the total death toll to 445. 309 people lost their life on Monday, and of the 309 deaths, 301 were reported in Karachi.
