The economic crisis has significantly affected household disposable income in Italy, as the national statistics institute Istat reported on Monday. In particular, in 2012, Italian household disposable income dropped by of 1.9 percent compared to the previous year. This was the second sharpest fall, after the one recorded in 2009, since the outbreak of the crisis.
