Socialist Party presidential candidate François Hollande remains the favourite in the upcoming French presidential election, despite latest opinion polls suggestions that he is losing ground to the incumbent, Nicolas Sarkozy ahead of the poll on 22 April.
The latest Ifop poll showed a decrease for Hollande since 24 February, leaving him with an estimated 28.5% of votes, while Sarkozy was declining with 27%.
