President of France, Francois Hollande, called on Monday for the end of the US embargo on Cuba.
According to France24, Hollande said that “the measures that have so badly harmed Cuba's development can finally be lifted, repealed.” The French President met with President of Cuba Raul Castro and the longtime leader Fidel Castro and said that the identity of every country can be respected. Hollande is the first French president to visit the communist island in more than a century.
