Hollande is the first French President to visit the island in more than a century


President of France, Francois Hollande, arrived in Cuba on late Sunday, being the first French President to visit the communist island in more than a century.

According to AFP, Hollande’s visit to Cuba aims to boost France’s economic ties with the community regime.
