The polls in Greece resemble more the politics of Italy in the 1990's than those of a system designed to be bipolar and majoritarian.

The only thing certain is instability

The Greek election campaign has officially kicked off on Thursday, as the Prime Minister of the Greek caretaking government, Vassiliki Thanou, was sworn in. Mrs Thanou is the sixth Prime Minister since 2009, a rate that is reminiscent of the ill-fated 1960s Republic, prior to the Colonel’s regime.
