Following Latvia’s entry to the eurozone on January 1, the Governor of the Central Bank of Latvia, Ilmars Rimsevics, has joined the European Central Bank’s Governing Council. As Bloomberg reports, Rimsevics seems to support the same reform policies as Bundesbank President Jens Weidmann.
