JOHANNESBURG, 21 November 2013 (IRIN) - New HIV infections and AIDS-related deaths have continued to fall, while record numbers of people in the developing world are on antiretroviral treatment, according to the latest UNAIDS report on the pandemic. But with new HIV infections on the rise in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East and North Africa, more funding is needed.
