It’s funny how people can shape Google’s predictive search results. In a quest to more quickly present what people are expected to be searching for based on search volume and what the user has already typed in the search bar, Google shows a list of possibilities.

So what are people searching for when it comes to the European Commission – the European Union’s executive, and the closest thing there is to a European government?

You guessed it…

How does this happen? Google has a blog post to explain: “How do we determine these predictions? We look at the real searches that happen on Google and show common and trending ones relevant to the characters that are entered and also related to your location and previous searches.”

It seems all people in Brussels care about is holidays. But alas, no matter what you do, Christmas never comes early.
