German industrialists warn against AfD party


Germany’s anti-euro party has been criticised by one of the country’s most powerful industry groups.

As reported by Bloomberg, the BDI industry federation said the Alternative for Germany party (AfD) does not understand business. Ulrich Grillo, who heads the federation, issued a statement on March 14 in which he warned that the strength of extremist parties like the AfD and the anti-capitalist leftwing risks scaring off investors.
