Gazprom to increase gas transit through Belarus


Russian gas monopoly Gazprom Chairman Alexei Miller said that the company would increase the gas volumes to the EU via Belarus to 4bn cubic metres in 2012.

"In 2012 Gazprom will raise by 4 billion cubic metres the amount of Russian gas transmission via Belarus to the EU countries," Miller said during a phone conversation with Belarusian Minister of Energy Alexander Ozerets.
