The law on gas exports, a draft of which has been submitted to the State Duma, will be a guarantee that Russia will meet its export obligations, Gazprom Deputy CEO Alexander Medvedev told Interfax on June 8. “I am sure that the law, which states that gas exports from Russian territory can only be carried out by Gazprom or its 100 percent subsidiary Gazexport, is a guarantee that all Russia’s export obligations will be met,” Medvedev said.
