FYROM police attack reporters during protest


One journalist and four photographers who were covering a massive anti-government protest in Skopje on April 13 were badly injured by police in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). The incident was harshly condemned by the local journalists’ union SSNM, as well as the International Federation of Journalists and the European Federation of Journalists on April 18.
