The road to democracy in Tunisia has turned out to be “more complex” than originally anticipated, the country’s president has told the European Parliament.
Speaking in Strasbourg on 6 February, Moncef Marzouki, told MEPs that the success of democracy in Tunisia depends on whether or not people “turn to wisdom or folly”.
