French unemployment fell to its lowest level since 2012, according to the French statistical service (Insee)
Data released on Thursday suggest unemployment continues its downward turn, falling by 0,1% in the second quarter to 9,2%. That is a 0,5% reduction, year on year.
There are now 2.65 million unemployed in mainland France. At 22,7%, youth unemployment was rising in the second quarter, although it is down by 1,1% year on year....
