A brawl over the disputed presidential election broke out earlier today in Venezuela's parliament. MPs were involved in a fist-fight and later accused each other of being to blame for initiating the conflict that resulted in the injury of several legislators.

One of the MPs, Julio Borges, appeared on a local TV station with facial bruises and stated: "They can beat us, jail us, kill us, but we will not sell out our principles. These blows give us more strength."
