Europol and the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center, an industry association dedicated to reducing cyber-risk in the global financial system, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 19 September, aiming to combat cybercrime through intelligence sharing.

The partnership is a response to the sophisticated cyber-attacks in recent years affecting numerous countries, and is expected to ensure a cross-border cooperation necessary for the reduction of cybercrime.

The agreement will also enable education and resilience through training exercises and informational summits.
