Mobile commerce through mobile phones will represent 6,8% of all online sales across Europe by 2017, reaching €19.25 billion, Forrester's study affirms.
This percentage includes, according to the research company, retail products, services, gift cards, magazine subscriptions and purchases made for in-store pickup. However, it excludes apps, ringtones, payments made at physical checkouts with phones and purchases made on a tablet device.
