The European Union has been trying to preserve the nuclear deal with Iran and underlined its concern at the country exceeding its 300 kilos stockpile limit for low-enriched uranium.
In a joint statement on 02 July, the foreign ministers of Germany, France and Britain and the Union’s foreign policy chief called for Iran to reverse the move “and to refrain from further measures that undermine the nuclear deal.”
They demand full compliance by Iran and add that they “are urgently considering next steps” in close co-ordination with other signatories.
