Senior officials of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency visited Mexico on 9-11 July and signed an arrangement with the Mexican General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics to assist with the creation of the new Federal Civil Aviation Agency of Mexico.
The Mexican authorities will develop a center for production of air cabin interiors, which will strengthen aeronautical certification capabilities. Engineers will also be trained.
The working arrangement was signed in the framework of the EU-Latin America and Caribbean Civil Aviation Cooperation Project.
