The 17th annual EU Green Week kicked off in Malta on May 29, focusing on green jobs.

The European Union’s environmental policies are creating green jobs and contributing to economic and social growth across the EU and across sectors, the Commission said on May 29, adding that flagship policies such as the Circular Economy package or promoting the Paris Climate Agreement create significant employment opportunities.
