EU starts naval operation against traffickers

The mission is called EuNavFor and aims to combat human traffickers in the Southern Mediterranean


EU approved the launch of the naval mission called EuNavFor which aims to combat the human traffickers who are active in the Southern Mediterranean.

Today the European Union foreign ministers approved the start of the first phase of the EuNavFor Med naval mission, EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini announced.
