The EU is to contribute a €180 million Macro-Financial Assistance (MFA) package to Jordan. The package, together with a Memorandum of Understanding and Loan Facility Agreement, was signed today by Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Euro, Olli Rehn, the Jordanian Minister of Finance, Dr Umayya Toukan, and by the Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, Dr. Ziad Fariz.
