Α 50% chance of a “global deal” on Monday’s Eurogroup meeting was given by a senior EU official on Wednesday.
The EU senior official briefed the press ahead of the 22 may Eurogroup, a crucial meeting of euro area financial ministers member states, after the Staff Level Agreement that was reached some days ago in Athens. The global deal is described as parts of a package that will lead to a disbursement by the ESM and IMF within eight weeks.
