The European Commission said it seeking suggestions on how to redesign the EU’s electricity market, making energy supply more reliable and affordable across the 27-country bloc.

Under its plans for Energy Union spearheaded by Commission Vice President Maros Sefcovic, the EU wants to set the conditions for a reliable and affordable energy supply for all EU citizens and businesses, and to make the EU the world leader in renewable energy.
