EU and Mexico will begin trade and investment talks in mid-June

The European Union and Mexico are about to start the first round of the new trade and investment negotiations between the two commercial partners. The negotiations will take place in Brussels, Belgium in mid-June.

On Monday, the European Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmström met with the Secretary of Economy of Mexico Ildefonso Guajardo Villarreal to discuss about the modernisation of the EU-Mexico Global Agreement which is in force since 2000.
