Montenegrin Minister for European Integrations Gordana Djurovic said on August 25 that Montenegro might be granted a status of a candidate-country for fully-fledged membership in EU, news agency reporter.gr said. Djurovic declined to comment on the assessment voiced by James Lyon of the International Crisis Group that Montenegro might become a fully-fledged member of the European Union as soon as in 2010.
