The EU and the United States held a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear capacity building Dialogue to coordinate efforts in reducing weapons of mass destruction threats and strengthening security globally.
The Dialogue, held in Brussels on 14-15 May, enabled a constructive exchange of information and prioritized areas for collaboration. It was chaired by Eddie Maier, Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development for the EU, and Renee Sonderman, Bureau of International Security and Non-proliferation, for the Department of State for the United States.
