The European People’s Party (EPP) met on 3-4 June in Brussels to analyze the results of the European elections, discuss political developments in the bloc, as well as the upcoming priorities for the next Commission’s mandate, and to welcome Ukraine’s pro-European Samopomich party into the EPP’s fold.

They reiterated that they remain committed to the lead candidate election procedure and ensuring that Manfred Weber becomes the next President of the European Commission.
