The failure of the European Commission to discover the emissions scandal, would be investigated by a committee appointed by the European Parliaments on January 21.
The European Parliament announced yesterday that it appointed the 45 members of the committee of inquiry into car makers’ breaches of EU rules on car emission tests. According to the press release, the committee will also investigate alleged failures by EU member states and the European Commission to enforce EU standards.
