The European Commission revealed its proposal for a Regulation, ‘Guidelines for trans-European energy infrastructure’, on 19 October. The proposal endeavours to complete energy networks and storage facilities by 2020 and identified 12 priority areas including electricity, gas, oil and carbon dioxide transportation networks.
