EIB to finance safe drinking water in Cambodia

EIB to finance safe drinking water in Cambodia

The European Investment Bank signed a new €85.9 million loan with the Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority to improve drinking water supply in and around the capital of Cambodia.
This is the first EIB investment in Cambodia under the EU External Lending Mandate.
This project will be backed by an investment grant from the Asia Investment Facility of the European Union of €13.5 million and is supported by Agence Française de Développement under the Mutual Reliance Initiative.
