OCHA expressed deep concern over 9th May air strikes in Sa’ada


War violence in Yemen is taking “a dreadful toll on civilians,” the United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator for the country, Johannes can der Klaauw said on 10 May.

Van der Klaauw said in a statement released by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) that airstrikes on May 9 on the city of Sa’ada, caused the death of many civilians and the citizens of the city are now trapped as there is no way out of Sa’ada.
