On Monday the Republican President-aspirant, Donald Trump, suggested that Muslim immigration to the United States should be forbidden. Within less than 24 hours 205,000 Britons signed a petition to forbid Donald Trump’s entry to the UK; that number was on Friday 520.000 people and counting.  The British Parliament must consider the motion for a debate if it passes the 100,000 signatures threshold. And the government must respond to any petition that gets more than 10,000 signatures.
