A four-member delegation from the European Union arrived in Yangon (Rangoon) last Sunday, hoping to re-start stalled reconciliation talks between Myanmar’s (Burma’s) military government and the opposition led by Aung San Suu Kyi. The delegation was scheduled to meet with Deputy Foreign Khin Maung Win and State Peace and Development Council First Secretary Lieutenant General Khin Nyunt on Monday, a Foreign Ministry source said.
