Deutsche Bank announced it has relaunched merger talks with the UK’s Lloyd’s/TSB to establish a new Anglo-German banking unit. Negotiations began in 2001 but were then brought to a standstill due to strong opposition from some members of the Deutsche Bank board on the transfer of the bank’s headquarters to London, according to German Spells Business.
