The confiscation of valuables belonging to the refugees will start in Denmark, as the Parliament of the country approved the measure on January 26.
Many NGOs and the UN criticized the measure which is established in three European countries: Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. Both three countries justify the confiscations on the basis that they need resources to provide the social services needed at the asylum centers they operate.
