A new threat is affecting computers, iPhones and other gadgets, but this time it's not a virus. Invasive ants from South America, called 'crazy ants', are chewing up electronics and have caused $146.5 million in damages in Texas.

This species its immune to chemicals and are attracted to electrical wiring. It was formerly known as the raspberry crazy ant and was first discovered ten years ago in Houston. However, now exists in Texas, Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana.
