This is the year where underdogs emerge as favorite, perhaps US politics is more polarized than you thought.


Sanders is anti-establishment and Clinton is establishment. These US Presidential elections are being framed as an establishment versus anti-establishment race, for Democrats and Republicans alike. If Clinton manages to keep this race on a second-name basis, she will win; but if this becomes a Bernie versus Hillary campaign, she could lose.
