COP21: Numerous initiatives against climate change

“Three out of four humanitarian disasters are now climate-related,” UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon told delegates attending a High-level meeting on climate resilience at the Paris-Le Bourget site, COP21’s main venue.

An initiative named “Anticipate, Absorb, Reshape” launched, while the International Solar Alliance also established by India and France


On the opening day of the United Nations climate change conference (COP21), a number of initiatives were launched to counter the disasters brought by climate change.

A new initiative to build climate resilience in the world’s most vulnerable countries was launched by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and 13 agencies of the UN system.
