Oil imports into China from Russia in 2006 may increase to 15 million tonnes, Chinese Deputy Commerce Minister Yu Guangzhou said during an Internet conference. Imports of Russian oil to China in 2005 amounted to 12.78 million tonnes. The share of Russian oil in Chinese imports in 2005 amounted to 10.1 percent.
