According to Louis Gallois, head of Airbus’s parent company EADS, China has stopped Chinese airlines buying planes from the European commercial aircraft maker as a reaction to the EU's controversial emissions scheme.

"Airbus is subjected to retaliation measure against EU carbon-emissions taxes," EADS Chief Executive Louis Gallois told a press conference adding that the Chinese government rejects to approve airlines' orders for long-range airplanes.
