A new political party took shape last week by Catalans who oppose the region’s nationalist politics. With 800 members, the Ciutadans de Catalunya was set to take-off officially last Saturday. According to the initiators of the new political body that includes members from a variety of other existing parties, “the region has become inhospitable to those who are not nationalists.”
