On 25 June, MEPs, Commission members and tech experts urged the European Union to create an EU Anti-Bullying Day, to remind citizens that bullying and cyberbullying are problems without borders.

One in every three children have experienced bullying, and one of its forms is cyberbullying, which takes place when someone uses technology, such as the Internet, to deliberately hurt, humiliate, harass or threaten someone else, according to the UK-based charity BeatBullying.
