Bulgarian appointed head of EU delegation to Libya


The current EU's Deputy Head of Delegation to Egypt, Nataliya Apostolova, was appointed to lead the delegation of the European Union (EU) to Libya, the High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Catherine Ashton, announced.

Apostolova comes from Bulgaria and is certainly not the first Bulgarian to lead an EU delegation. Other Bulgarians who perform the functions of Heads of Delegation include also Philip Dmitrov in Georgia and the appointed last year Yuri Sterk in Uzbekistan. Apostolova...
