A €184 million programme for the rehabilitation and integration of working-class neighbourhoods in Tunisia was launched on 5 July by the French Development Agency, the European Investment Bank, and the European Union.

The new programme is the second of its kind to be implemented since 2012. It will contribute to improving the living conditions of 800,000 Tunisian women and men from 146 neighbourhoods around the country. The project will offer residents a decent living environment by including them in project planning and in the choices of the development of public spaces.
